Palma Majorca Spain is the capital of the Spanish island of Mallorca, a haven for sun seekers, with its amazing beaches such as Playa de Palma around a 10-15 minute drive from the airport and capital. Palma also has amazing high-end shopping experiences, with plenty of historical and cultural treats. With so many restaurants and cafes offering Spanish tapas and other culinary delights. It really is a great place to visit and unwind from the everyday stresses of life.
The highlight of Palma has to be the Old town, as it is an amazing place to just walk around and enjoy the amazing laid back lifestyle and beautiful historic streets. Located in the Old town is the breathtaking Cathedral of Palma, also known as ‘La Seu’. This gothic style landmark is beautiful and boasts one of the largest stained-glass windows in the world as well as other statues and relics.

Palacio Ca Sa Galesa
Located in the historic old town of Palma is the beautiful 5 star Palacio Ca Sa Galesa hotel. We were lucky enough to stay for one night (wish is could have been more) in this amazing palace which dates back to the 16th century, with only 12 rooms you really get the feel that the staff are your own personal assistants and it is never hard to find a quiet place to yourself in the hotel.
With an amazing rooftop terrace that is a stones throw away from Palma Cathedral and has private Haimas, if you prefer, ask to have your breakfast, lunch or dinner served on the terrace.
Palacio Ca Sa Galesa also has a Fully-featured spa and treatments area, with a revitalising pool, Finnish sauna, steam bath, sensations aroma shower, gym and much more. It really is the perfect place to unwind and find peace and tranquility.

Where to eat?
This modern restaurant had plenty of style and the food and service was delightful. With a large selection of amazing tapas to choose from and great wine selection, this really was a lovely place to share and enjoy a bite to eat. We had the choice to either sit at a table or sit at the bar, which makes Tast a great social venue to eat with family or friends. With 4 locations in Palma (Tast Union, Tast Club, Tast Avenidas and El Nautico) it is never hard to pop in and enjoy amazing Spanish tapas food in Palma.
