London V

For today’s post we head back again to the hugely popular City of London, as aos.13
takes us for another look around this mega city.

London… As Samuel Johnson said: “Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford.”  This quote truly describes London and its diversity of sights, culture, food and religion. From modern financial centres of London, such as, The City of London and Canary Wharf to oriental China Town and venetian canals of the City it has a lot to offer to you.

Sunrises and sunsets in London are very special, every day is different. Strolling down the Thames during sunrise is the best feeling ever, almost no one and whole city feels so small and so huge at the same time. During the rain season, which is almost 70 per cent of days in a year, it gives you unexplainable feelings and vibes of this city, which you cannot imitate anywhere else.

Talking about London and the United Kingdom in general it is hard not to mention how people here love tea. Afternoon tea tradition is clear example of how drinking this beverage is deep in the culture of locals. There are even bus tours offering tours around the city while you are having your afternoon tea. How cool is that? Very cool I know!

What is your favourite place to enjoy a cup of tea? #teawithaview

I would say anywhere next to the Thames, however I would also add that the best time to have that cup of tea is early in the morning, next to the Thames sitting on one of the benches set on the embankment looking down the London Eye and Big Ben.
