Mt. Hood Scenic Byway

Today we are taken around the Mount Hood Scenic Byway in Oregon, by the talented haileythelen

The Mount Hood National Forest is located about an hour from my front door in downtown Portland, Oregon. It is by far one of my favorite places to explore. The entire area is filled with countless adventures from the drive along the Columbia River Gorge to the top of the mountains at one of the ski resorts. Endless Forest Service roads take me to hidden lakes, waterfalls and unexpected mountain views. Each time I visit, I try to take a new route and the endlessly changing conditions of fog, snow and blue skies create an exciting element of surprise. Even when I come back home, I’m reminded of the fresh mountain air as I see Mt. Hood in the distance.

What is your favorite place to have a cup of tea? #teawithaview.

#teawithaview My favorite place to enjoy a cup of tea would be watching the sun set over Mt. Hood from Lolo Pass Road.

The view on the Mt. Hood highway traveling from Hood River is one of my favorites.

It’s always fun to have a great adventure mobile.
